I love these! The glass containers stand up well to heat and cold. The plastic lids create a perfect seal and the tab on top can be opened for splatter free microwaving. Seriously, these lids held in thin, broth based soups, while being held vertically in my lunch bag with no leaks. Occasionally I’ll have to try more than once to get the lid all the way on, but I haven’t had any trouble aside from that. These are easy to clean, I just rinse them and throw them in the dishwasher. I’ve put the lids in the top and bottom parts of the dishwasher and they’re still fine. They’re the perfect size for *most*meals. Theyre not quite big enough for leafy salads, and there’s no compartments for keeping ingredients separate. However I purposely bought these because they don’t have separate compartments so it really just depends on what you planning on storing in them. I’ve only had them for two months, and so far they’re great. Will update if something changes.

This things are so perfect for my meal prep. I use them to make dinner for the school week M - F. I prep on Sunday, put the various meals in them and put them in the fridge. when I'm ready for dinner, I take it out, let it sit while the oven heats up, and then boom a few minutes later I have dinner. You can also use in microwave wave but I dont like that. You can not put the top in the oven. My friend almost did that and it was a good thing I wasnt far away. I totally LOVE these!!

I bought these when I was in my meal prep stage but have since enjoyed using them just for leftovers because they are the perfect portion/meal size. The little vent tab on top works well when reheating in the microwave. I love that they are glass because you don't have to worry about food stains, harmful chemicals leaching in while reheating, or melting plastic.

Update 10/11/2018: Home Native reached out to me in order to rectify the bad batch of containers I received, and replaced them. A+ for customer service. No problems with these containers, they fit great! Original Review: I purchased this item twice. The first purchase was in March. The second purchase was in July. The first batch of containers worked perfectly, I still use them. The second batch of containers do not seal when they are cold. They will snap on and seem airtight at room temperature, but once they go in the fridge and cool down, the lids lose their ability to be secure and do not fit. Maybe the glass containers condenses a bit more than the plastic lid? I don't know, but what I do know is this is not how it should work. Buyers; cool down each container and check for a proper fit after purchasing.

I have just begun my meal prep journey. I chose glass as I want to ensure I can use the containers for an extended period of time. I also did not want to deal with staining as the plastic containers I have used for leftovers in the past seem to suffer. Had I known about these containers earlier, I could have saved my money on the plastic. Although it can be difficult to close the lids sometimes, I like the security of the seal, no leaks. There also seem to be no odors once the lids are closed. I feel secure that the containers will not leak no matter what abuse occurs to my lunchbox in the company refrigerator. The size is just right for portion control. I have not tried freezing in them yet but I do not expect any change in performance. I have placed the glass in the dishwasher with great results. I do not want to risk the lids in the dishwasher though. Be careful stacking them with the lids on as they slide, there is no top edge to keep them in place when stacked. I really should have bought these sooner!

I am trying to switch from plastic to glass for my food storage, which is why I got these. I feel like my food is fresher, and being in glass makes it easier and safer to reheat if I'm using the microwave. Others have said that the lids are a little tight, but I find that comforting - I don't want air in there! Easy to clean, and dishwasher safe. I've been using them every day since I got them, both for meal prep and for leftovers.

Love these! They are the perfect size and I love how durable they are. I have already bought 4 packs (20 all together) so my husband and I can meal prep easily. They are worth the month and I think they are priced at a reasonable amount. The company is amazing to work with- they have great customer service. I plan on buying at least two more packs.

Why did we choose this set? My wife likes to cook different dishes baking them in the oven. We have three children and each has its own preferences and tastes. And so when she cooked in one big dish there were problems because one likes chicken, second likes fish, and the third likes vegetables. Therefore, the preparation went in two or three stages and the dish could not be eaten in a few days. Now she prepares for each individual portion taking into account all personal wishes. Containers of a very suitable size for the stove and cooked portions for children are enough for two or three times. It is very convenient. Now do not wait until the cooked food is cooled and put into plastic containers for storage in the refrigerator. Just close the container when it is cold and in the refrigerator. Then you just got it put in a microwave and again there are no problems. Well and a nice bonus containers can be washed in the dishwasher. Wife says why we did not buy them before it's so convenient! I am pleased with this purchase because my wife likes to cook and feed us and I see that she is pleased with the convenience of working with these containers.

These containers are wonderful! I am a single professional with a very busy life. These containers are great for meal prep. I prepare multiple meals on the weekend and have them ready to go during the week. I love that they are both safe to put in the oven and also to put in your dishwasher! So much easier than plastic containers that turn the color of your food! I also love the little vent at the top which is nice when you are putting food in the fridge while it is still hot. Highly recommend this product!

UPDATED REVIEW on July 18, 2018 My original review is below for your reference. Like I said in my original review, I don't usually write reviews, however, I was so impressed by the company's resolution that I felt strongly enough to update. The company reached out to me after seeing my negative review and sent me an entire new set of containers with lids that were perfect. The containers are perfect in every way and were on my doorstep within 2 days. I'm super happy! Thank you, HomeNative! ORIGINAL REVIEW: I don't usually write reviews but I feel compelled to write this! The good first: The actual glass containers are perfect! Exactly what I was looking for and expected = work lunch containers. The bad: Upon opening the box, 2 of the lids had locking sides that had already broken off. The third broke off the first time I snapped it shut and the remaining 2 broke the first week upon opening the container. I threw away all the packing material thinking they might be fine even though they were missing only one locking side. Now, they all leak so I can't bring them to work which was my entire intent! I don't want the hassle of returning them because I don't have packing material and I don't want the returned containers to arrive shattered. Now I'm back to square one with finding glass containers for work lunches! I tried to write a review the first week but the Amazon website prevented me from doing so stating that this item was receiving unusual review activity. I felt so strongly about it that I kept trying. Frustrating!

We had a bbq this past weekend so i got alot of the food prepared the night before. One thing was onions. I chopped them up and put them into a food storage contain i had. Next morning people arrived. My friend opened the refrigerator and the powerful smell of onions hit us. My container failed. I decided it was time to order new ones. Prep Naturals had everything i needed in a food storage container. Dishwasher safe, oven safe and microwave safe. Can be used in refrigerator or freezer also. The 5 containers are the perfect size. Has a tab on cover to release heat and reclose when storing. I washed them and put my onions in one. No odor at all. Great food storage containers.

These are perfect for taking my lunch to work. The lid locks down on all 4 sides independently, even with getting tossed around a bit they do not accidentally come loose or leak. I love that they can go from the fridge to microwave. The glass is thick and heavy, very sturdy. The lids have a vent so you can microwave with the lid on your food and it doesn't become soggy from the steam. I do wash the lids by hand as I worry they would warp in the dishwasher , but have had no issues with them staining. Great product, very pleased.

My husband and I are on Keto and wanted to move away from using non-BPA plastic containers. A friend suggested glass containers for meal prep. These are a great size. My only point of contention are the lids. When prepping, I would use food safe plastic cling wrap before putting on lid. This will keep the seals on the lid from having to be removed and cleaned because food/liquid will not be able to get in there. It was a pain to clean otherwise. Also, this will allow you to remove the lid before heating in the microwave and still have a covering. I found that the plastic lids warped from the heat. I will order another set for my husband, as these are now MINE!

Switching to glass containers is the best decision ever. I think these have been a great way to learn what I like and dislike in using this type of meal storage containers. I love the ventilation port in the top, but I also REALLY love that I can go from refrigerator straight to the oven with these containers. They have a good weight so they're nice and sturdy. They have also gone in the dishwasher a couple of times and survived. The only downside is the rubber in the lid does not stay in very well. Otherwise, these containers have been perfect! The step by step meal plan is an added bonus.

These are simply amazing and have saved me so much time with my meal preparations. They are easily used in the oven then can be frozen for use later. I have not tried them in the microwave yet. I made brownies and they were a perfect way to make smaller portions to stack away. I recommend them to everyone. Easy clean too
Matt
I have been using these for lunch for a few months now and am very happy with my purchase sturdy lids none of the tabs have snapped off. The vent tab doesn't seem to be enough in the microwave on its own I usually have to unsnap 2 sides otherwise the lid bows up I have not yet used these in the oven or freezer.

WOW these are really nice, I love the size. Easy to clean, I wash the lids by hand, and thro glass container into dishwasher. Its a heavier glass which makes it more durable, stacks well. I love it for leftovers to take to work next day. I would recommend these glass containers as I am very pleased with mine.

[5-Pack,29oz] Glass Meal Prep Containers - Food Prep Containers with Lids Meal Prep - Food Storage Containers Airtight - Lunch Containers Portion Control Containers - BPA Free Container I'm very impressed with quality and how convenient they are. I put leftovers there mostly and it put frozen veggies to one and keep in the freezer. Very handy to just open and put to the microwave to warm up. Good for taking away to have lunch at work. Looking at other containers of the same brand. Very necessary stuff at your kitchen.

Nowadays, we are living on tight budgets it is the economy. Given the tight budgets, When lunch starts costing $15-20 every day, you get creative. I new I had to start carrying my own lunch to work from home. However, I had a little problem, I knew very little about Meal Prepping. As always, I turned to YouTube for the much-needed help. After consuming (pun intended) lots of YouTube videos on meal prepping, I decided to buy this 5 Pack Glass Meal Prep container with Lids. I now use the Prep Natural Meal Prep Containers to pack and carry my lunch to work every day. It has served me right and has never failed me. The Container is made of a strong glass and can be used both in the Oven, Microwave, and even in the fridge without breaking to high or low temperatures. For me, I mostly use it on fridges. . I prep my workday lunch meals on Sundays to bring them to work during the week and store it in the fridge. The also container has a compartment, which has a smart locking lead. This makes the Meal Container leak proof, and you can walk around with it, while it is safely in the backpack without having to worry about spilling food. Once you close the lid, the freshness is sealed and you can toss your lunch into the fridge and just grab a container each day for work. The container is made from glass, which makes it even healthier to use compared to plastic containers. The glass also adds some class in carrying food to work look a bit classy.

I was going to buy Pyrex, but then I found out they switched from using borosilicate glass to tempered soda-lime glass in their USA products. That soda-lime glass is not as tolerant of fast temperature changes, and although it is rare, it can occasionally EXPLODE if you place a hot container on a cool surface. But these here are true borosilicate glass containers and I expect them to be safer when I go from oven to freezer to microwave. The lids are a very solid tight fit, which is great for me if I use the container to take lunch to work in my backpack (it's the perfect size for that!). However, the lids are SO tight that unless you have two hands of normal adult strength, you might have some trouble snapping them into place. Therefore I would not recommend these for elderly or disabled persons.
Cristina
These are great quality and exactly what I need for lunch. There is just something about reusing and reheating plastic containers that gives me a gross feeling. These were smaller than I thought they would be but they actually perfectly hold my entire lunch. Great purchase

LOVE these containers! I have recently tried a new meal plan system that has me divide up my portion sizes. This works perfect for me to make up my lunch portions or breakfast yogurt parfaits. What I love about the glassware is I can take my lunch portion and place it directly in the microwave at work and not have to worry about getting more dishes dirty!

Just swinging by to add my two cents to this product. Got my first shipment a week or two ago. After using them a couple times I immediately bought a second shipment. For LUNCH - I'd say these are just about the perfect container in size, material and quality. I'm a big fan of glass over plastic, and overall just really fit the bill perfectly for me (after 2 or 3 not so great other products). I do want to respond to a couple of the comments around the lids being hard to seal completely. Yes, this is true to a point. But for a product that advertises itself as leakproof, I'm not sure how you deliver on that promise without tightly sealing lids. It's a one or the other thing. Generally I find the lids do require a bit extra pressure to seal. If I'm having trouble getting it to stay sealed, I just have to lean in" a bit more and they snap right shut. So for me - it's a feature not a bug."

Containers are nice but lids are too hard to snap back on. Plus you have to remove the rubber liner from the lids when washing...I have found mold spores starting to grow because I washed the lids in the dishwasher with the urbber liner still in tact
LJoy
Really like the containers - no issues with spilling. You have to have some strength to snap the lids into place. Not problem for me, but could be difficult for someone who is elderly or struggles with dexterity. My biggest complaint is that THEY DON'T NEST! Each dish fits into another one about an inch in, so if you stack them, they're going to take up a lot of space.

I used these every day - love em! I usually hand wash the lids, but if they are really messy, they do fine in the top shelf of the dishwasher. I make an egg bake on Sunday that I divide up into six servings. I eat one on Sunday and the rest go into the containers for each day. I pop the little tab on the unit before putting in the microwave at work, and I have an awesome breakfast throughout the week. I love the fact that there is no mess left in the microwave and I'm not using a bunch of plastic wrap . .ever.

These little storage containers are a fantastic bang for your buck! Compared to snapware prices at places like Costco and even Amazon these are a great deal. Not to mention you're getting 5 meal prep sized containers, rather than in other packages where you only get 2-3 plus smaller sized containers. Not only are they the perfect size, they clean up very well, look classy, and I have been able to cook with them too because of their high resistance to heat. The only piece of advice I have is to hand wash the tops. I put one in the dishwasher and it changed the shape a bit and rubber band seal came out. It was an easy fix but will be hand washing the tops going forward. Otherwise, I absolutely love and recommend these!

We decided to start making the switch from plastic to glass after having another few containers melt. I purchased these thinking they would be my small containers and then purchased these (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B076MBV6HQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) as my larger ones. I typically use larger containers more frequently, but this set was the perfect size. I use them all the time to pack leftovers for my hubby to take to work. Pros: They seal really well so they don't spill saucy dishes in my hubby's backpack. They have a vent hold in the top of the lid for microwaving. They are the perfect size for his meals- although I do pack them full. Also, their customer service is great- I had one lid come with a partially disconnected tab and they sent me an entire replacement set after one email. The second set had no such issues so I think it was a fluke with the first set. Cons: If you don't have a lot of hand strength, the seals are really stiff when they first arrive so they are hard to close. I think this means that as they get used, they will still hold up really well, but something to be aware of.
The Man
Bought the as an Amazon special. The size is good and they work great. They clean up much better than plastic. They also heat up better in the microwave. The lids are pretty hard to close when you first get them which causes the rubber gasket to stick to the container instead of the lid.
THE MAD NAD
After using old plastic deli containers for years these glass bowls are excellent. The only slight downside is that the snap on lids require a bit of effort to close snap shut but I refuse to downgrade a full star for this. I frequently take the bowls straight to the oven or microwave with no ill effects. (of course the lids can't go in the oven). The lids are fine in the dishwasher but I never use the heated dry in on my dishwasher so I can't say what the heating element would do to the lids. When not in use the bowls have a slight nest" so that I can stack in the cabinet. When in use the lids are flat and I can easily stack two or three in the fridge."
JamieH
I really wanted to love these, but I can't say that I do. The Pros: They are a decent quality, and actually a lot bigger than I expected. I can definitely fit all of my lunch in them, and the seal seems pretty tight so far. The Cons: The seal is so tight that its actually kind of difficult to close them, it takes a bit of muscle. The biggest thing I don't like about these is that they DON'T NESTLE together. Yes, they stack, but as some other reviewers stated, only a tiny part of the bottom will fit inside the top of another. So these are definitely NOT space savers in the Tupperware drawer. Bottom line, they work, but I wouldn't buy these again and I will probably continue looking for a better set that will meet more of my needs.

Love these meal prep containers! My husband and I prep all of our lunches for the week each Sunday and these containers are the perfect size. I love that they are glass so they don't retain any smells and can be thrown in the dishwasher after use. We've been using them for a couple months now and haven't broken a single one! The lids stay on nice and tight and do not leak. I sometimes put them in the freezer as well and they work great for that. I will be ordering more so I can make a bunch of freezer meals to have on hand as well.
Erika
We really like the look and the idea of the usefulness of having these around. However the white strip/tubing is extremely cheap and some arrived stuck to the container, not the lid. One of mine was not only stuck upon unwrapping, but strangely broken into pieces, which prevents it from properly sealing. See pic for details. It makes me concerned how long the others will last that we have actually gotten to use, or if this is just a dud. The things don’t stay in the lid like they should after all.
Kirsten C.
I’ve bought 2 sets so far! These are amazing for meal prepping! There are a great price for 5 containers. They are also a great size and stack well in my cabinet. I love that the lid disassembles for thorough cleaning (the rubber seal comes out)! My only gripe is that the lid isn’t dishwasher safe. But I already knew that before I bought them and it hasn’t really been a big deal so far.

I have been using these for a week so far and am duly impressed! These containers are designed excellently and the perfect size for the recipes two different vegan YouTube meal prep videos I've followed. The image does not show that these have a vent on the top. I do not use microwaves, but if you do, I could see this being helpful. I do worry, however, about bits of food and gunk getting stuck in the steam hole. I am not too worried about the product's durability. The seal is strong and was capable of keeping a viscous three bean chilly from adulterating the binding of the copy of Jane Eyre it shared a book bag compartment with. I've found that the product can comfortable fit a dirty utensil as well after your meal is finished. Even if you give up meal prepping which I, on occasion, worry may happen, these are fantastic Tupperware.

I bought these to help with weekly meal prep. The glass is substantial and I don’t worry about using the dishwasher. I feel better about heading up foods in a glass container as opposed to plastic. In particular I like that the lids have a steam release latch so I don’t get burned when heat up my lunch.

I use these to bring lunch to work every day now, and using them has been much more enjoyable than the plastic containers I've used in the past. They are heavy but very sturdy and solid, and the glass containers make it easier to clean than plastic if you ever put oily food in it. Pros: Easy to clean 5-pack is just enough to meal prep over the weekend and have enough meals for the work week Glass feels nicer than comparable plastic containers, and the construction feels solid Large enough to hold a utensil Cons: Lids can be difficult to snap on at times, but it has never been enough to significantly bother me Lids are not freezer-safe, so it sort of defeats the purpose of the glass being freezer safe

Major things about this food container: 1. The container is deep enough to fit in a k-cup inside, so you won't have much problem fitting in a full chicken thigh or drumsticks in there (unlike most containers I found) 2. The glass container is smaller than I expected it to be base on the pictures posted (see photos for reference), but it can sure fit a nice full meal (but too small for what i intended to use it for). 3. The containers stack up nicely and they're pretty stable so no problem storing them. 4. The rubber is removable for easy cleaning. Just do note that the rubber is only glued or something, so exercise caution when washing. 5. One major thing I don't like tho is that the plastic lock doesn't feel sturdy. I guess overall, the glass part is amazing but the plastic covers are not as much... though, considering the price, with proper care and careful use, this is a good buy ;)

I love these and will be buying more. The lids are great! The little flip thing used for venting is fantastic. And comes in handy when microwaving my meals. They are a perfect size too for meals. Recommend hand washing not using the dishwashers with the lids. I’ve had bad luck with other brands and the lids in the past. But I am planning on buying another set of these. Great product at a great price!

Great product. This has made my life so much better, no more spilled soups and food on my way to work. They lock tight with zero leaking. Super slick interior to make it easy to clean. The only downside is that when stored they don't save space when stacked, but not a big deal. Easily stacks in refrigerator. They may be a little difficult to get the lids on tight if you have difficulties with your fingers. Lids seem very sturdy and will probably last a while. The folding part of the plastic tabs seem pretty thick and the seal that seats onto the glass part is pretty good. I would expect these to last a while. I bought a couple of these and for the price will probably buy more.

I really like these. Previously I used plastic microwavable containers for lunch at work and eventually (especially with a pasta dish with tomato sauce) they would become really gross. These containers are, of course, glass, which is healthier than using plastic. The lids, however, are plastic with a removable rubber lining (which is great for washing so you don't get gross mold/mildew. The fasteners move nicely without seeming like they could break off, and then the flap up top, which reveals the hole for steam to escape, is really nice too. My only concern with this, which is why I removed a star, is that after heading, it seems like the plastic lid loses its shape and bends a little bit. I imagine the steam from warming the food pushes it up a bit, and softens it, so it's just not flat. It has yet to render the product useless or ineffective at all, so that's really my only complaint thus far. All in all, I highly recommend this if you are like me and insist on a hot lunch while at work!
Lafter The Fact
Great for packing lunches for work. Glass is nice and thick. Convenient lids to hold the containers by the lids after they've been microwaved to prevent burns. The lids are a bit stiff at first, but go on just fine with enough force and get easier to close. No leaks. Thus far the lids haven't been staining or retaining odors. Will see how they hold up...
b_huynh11
Pretty pricey IMO. However it is a very good quality set of containers. The lids are lock tight and are made of very hard materials. Really helps me portion my lunches out. Sort of sucks that they don't stack tho.
Araella
Got these for the packed lunches I bring to work. These are solidly made--the glass is nice and thick. The lids snap on tight--haven't had any leakage problems yet. The vent makes it easy to heat up the food in the microwave without worrying about splatters. I got a potholder with a silicone side to toss in my lunch bag because the bottom does get hot, which is only an issue if you hold the container in your hand, as I do. The top part is still cool enough to touch, so you can remove it from the microwave without burning your hands. I also like that these are slightly smaller than the plastic containers I used to have, so they fit in my lunch bag better.
Kaitlan
Great value. With the lids, I would suggest not putting them in the dishwasher (I tried one and it now has a puffed up/concave top, but still fits and works as expected) and unlocking the side tabs when microwaving. The little steam vents are great but sometimes don’t let out enough steam while microwaving, which can also cause the top of the lid to puff up. By the way, the “puffing up” I’m describing doesn’t mean you can’t use the lid, it just means you can’t really stack anything on top of the lid without it sliding off. With the microwave thing, it returns to normal (flat) after a while; however the dishwasher one did not.

i LOVE these containers. I feel as though today you really don't know what you can trust when it comes to plastic and chemicals leaking into food when microwaving. So for me- glass containers are the way to go. Not only can you heat up food securly in these, but they're also safe for the oven (without the lid). They are very heavy and sturdy. Great product at a great price!

Nice glass containers to store your food items in. Can fit all of your fruit and nuts or whatever you like to snack on throughout the day. It's also big enough to hold a perfectly portioned out meal. The glass ensures nothing will get squished. The tops seal tightly ensuring nothing leaks. Perfect for my controlled meals.

everything came very well packed and in great shape. Just put 2 of the 5 in the freezer a few minutes ago with some really awesome homemade beef bone broth I just simmered up over the last 3 days. Lids seem to fit VERY tight. I turned my 2 dishes full of warm broth over and left them on the counter for a few minutes and even shook them and sloshed the liquid around a lot and could not detect even a tiny hint of leakage anywhere on either container / lid. I'm very happy so far!! I bought them mostly for freezing and likely will seldom if ever go from freezer direct to oven. I thaw things in sink with water or just in fridge for a few days.

This glass tupperware is really nice. We’ve been using Rubbermaid ones forever and over the years they just break down and have to be replaced a lot. I’m hoping to prevent that with these glass ones. The glass is super thick and I like the two compartments on it to keep food separate. The lid snaps on pretty easy and seals well. My biggest problem with these lids is the vent on top I'm not sure its purpose since the description (and seller) said not to microwave the lids. I feel like they need to change the product packaging then because the description on the package itself says the lids ARE microwave safe. The actual glass containers are microwavable and you can even put them in the oven to bake in or the freezer. Everything is top rack dishwasher safe though so that’s a plus.

I’ve decided to switch from plastic containers to glass containers. These single compartment containers are great! The flaps on the lid fit much tighter than other sets I own. Pros: *Containers stack into each other for easier storage *Air vent at the top allows me to put the lid on while my left overs are still a little warm. *Containers were packed in a long narrow box so each container stacks on top of another. There were foam pieces on all sides and above and below. All 5 containers arrived without any chips or cracks. *The four lid clips are much more snug than other glass containers I have. They do not wear out after multiple uses. *The glass containers have a little lip around the top edge. This helps create a full seal with the gasket inside the lip. *So convenient to use! Oven, dishwasher, and microwave safe *Glass containers won’t stain from spaghetti sauce like plastic containers do. I’m happy to have these single compartment glass containers as part of my container collection. I enjoy writing quality reviews. If you've found this review helpful, and you'd like to give me some encouragement, please click yes" below. Thanks!"

These glass containers are awesome! Very heavy duty, super easy to wash and dishwasher safe too! Love that I dont have to worry about plastic warping and that the lid vents when reheating in the microwave. I wish they nested a little bit better to save cabinet space. This is the only drawback to these containers

I am in love with these containers! So much so, that I wish I had more! They hold all items well, and it’s such a relief that they come with locking lids for transportation! The only setback was my I terpretation of the picture/description (totally on me, but).. I thought they were sectioned off, but instead, they’re just one whole rectangle. Not a problem, and probably stated clearly in the description, but I didn’t read it, so that’s on me. Otherwise, LOVE!

These glass containers come with plastic leak-proof lids and they are the best for storing leftovers in or prepping salads for the week ahead. I've been slowly replacing all of my plastic ware, and using glass as it's so much better to reheat in. It does say not to microwave with the lid on, but as long as I've used it on medium heat with it a jar from the base it's done ok. I've also put the lid on the top shelf in my dishwasher and used low heat to dry and they've come out fine. Just don't use the plastic lid in the oven.

I bought these and the 2 compartments containers and I've been pleased with both. They have a nice weight to them and they don't feel thin and cheap. I like the venting thing on top for when they are in the microwave I just hope that if this even ends up it's side in the lunch box that the little flap doesn't leak. But for now they are perfect and I will be ordering the other styles over the next few months

I love my food storage bowls. They are perfect for taking food to work etc. Perfect amount for one person. Great for storing leftovers. This set will be great for the holidays. It has such a great seal!! I have never had anything this good before. Plus I like that it's glass and not plastic.

They are a little smaller than expected (I am terrible at measurements) but overall work well and do the job. They come well packed, though with a bit of an overkill on the plastic. The lids are NOT dishwasher safe which should be kept in mind. I haven't decided to risk it but the lids do feel like a thinner plastic than my dishwasher safe containers. Fits a large chicken breast pretty well and is good for small salads/snack blends.

These containers are perfect for our family. I usually cook something on Sunday night and ensure there is enough for leftovers that I can take to work the next day. I can heat up my leftovers in the microwave at work, bring the container home and throw it in the dishwasher. So easy to clean. They also stack nicely in the fridge or cabinet, wherever you store them.

I just received my second set of five after using the first set for a few weeks. The containers are part of my process of preparing food in large quantity and freezing meals for use later. I hand wash the lids to avoid subjecting them to really high heat and make sure they stay in good shape. (I have defrosted a container with lid, vent open, in the microwave with no problem.) Otherwise, I don't hesitate reheating the containers as instructed in the microwave or oven. The result is I have healthy meals even on work days when I leave home early and return late. I recommend this product.

These are spectacular!!! They are airtight so the week's food I do for lunches and such stay fresh for the whole week. They are strong and very durable. The four part latching system insures your food is completely sealed. The seal ring is removable for easy cleaning. The nice pop-top vent allows food to cool if packed in hot . Once cool, close pop-top and stick in the fridge. Husband is rough on things including his lunch box and so far these are holding up so nice!! Many others I have tried have been broken in a matter of days. I love these !!!

These are my favorite containers to date. The glass is sturdy and I love that I can heat it up or store it easily. The best part? It freezes! I make large batches of food and put it in the freezer in these containers. I don't have to switch containers, mess up more dishes, or create more work than that's needed. I don't know how I lived without them!

These are very nice containers, they are durable and not as heavy as you would think. My wife carries two with her to work and has no complaints about being two heavy. The lids seal great locking in the freshness, and as with glass they are easy to clean without worrying about any chemicals that may be getting broken down into your food. The only complaint I have is the size is not that big but I also try and fit lunch and dinner into one so thats the user's fault not the container. I would recommend.

These are so much better than the plastic meal prep containers. They lock perfectly, which makes it great for when I'm walking / riding my bike to work. I will say, even with the opening slot on top, they do take a little bit longer to warm up in the microwave, but nothing ridiculous. Much happier with these than the plastic versions. Spend the extra money and get these. Only real problem is they don't stack well, so be prepared for that.

These are by far my favorite containers to use for left overs! Because they are glass they don't hold on to smells. Even if you have cleaned out the fridge and left them on the counter for a few days :| They are the perfect size to hold pretty much everything. I have dropped one on my kitchen floor vinyl and it just bounced without breaking or chipping. The little spout at the top is nice for microwaving, especially soups. I will be buying another pack of these in the future because I love them so much!

We recently got rid of all of our plastic food containers to try to avoid BPA and other harmful chemicals that may leach into our food when warmed in the microwave. These glass containers are exactly what I was looking for to replace them! The size is just right for leftovers. You can easily pop them into your lunch bag to take with you to work The lid snaps on very tight (I mean, REALLY tight -- you should open and close the latches a few times when you get them to loosen them up) so you don't have to worry about the lid popping off and spilling food everywhere. They stack nicely in the cabinet and in the refrigerator. I have used them multiple times in the microwave and have washed them in the dishwasher. They still look great and work like a charm. I would definitely buy these again.

These are fantastic! I am so glad I ordered them. I absolutely love the versatility of these glass containers. They make meal prep a breeze. You do not have to transfer your food to another container which means it takes less time and makes less dishes. This busy mom loves both of those things!! I put it in the freezer, in the oven, or microwave. I love being able to see my food in them in the freezer or fridge, it keeps the space clean and organized. I am going to need to order another set because I love them so much! I have not had any trouble with the lids, they all fit perfectly! The only negative with glass containers like these is you cannot stack them inside each other so they do take up more room when they are in the pantry.

My husband and I are empty-nesters, and this set of oven-safe glass containers is perfect for us. The glass is strong enough to go into the freezer or in the oven. Since I haven't learned to cook in small batches, I package up leftovers, put the lid on, and pop it in the freezer. When we are ready to eat that meal, I take it out and let it thaw in the fridge until we get home, then vent the lid and pop it in the microwave. Voila! A quick and healthy meal for the both of us! The glass containers are dishwasher safe, but the lids must be hand washed. They are made of BPA-free plastic, so much be treated as such. These are great!

These storage containers are really nice. I prefer glass for storing food because over time most plastics discolor or absorb odors. Glass does not. Price was reasonable, glass containers are heavy and strong like pyrex. With care, you can warm food in the oven; just be careful not to pull it out of the oven and place it directly on a cold surface (like marble or stone) or the glass might break. But I really prefer glass over plastic any day.

These glass boxes are really nice. The glass is thick and feels substantial that if it accidentally fell, it wouldn't break the first time (hello kids). The lids snap on super tight. Like I have a hard time snapping the sides closed they they are so securely on there. I think they are probably sealed really well! I have been slowly looking for glass solutions to replace my ziploc style plastic boxes for storing leftovers and these glass containers give me peace of mind in that regard. I am a bit disappointed they don't nest for when they are not in use. I also wish the lids were diswasher safe. Otherwise I am very happy with this product. The price is great as well! Similar to budget friendly Ikea prices (without having to leave the house, or get lost in the super store, and/or end up bringing home ten other things you dont really need ;) )

I am so pleased with these glass containers! A few years ago I bought a similar, yet smaller, pampered chef container for over $10. This is such a great deal for 5. They are made very similarly to pampered chef, with the waterproof seal, thick tempered glass, sturdy lid with four sides to seal. I like that these lids have a little air flap, which is helpful when trying to set the seal. I did fill one with water, seal it, and shake to see if it would leak. It didn't leak! I did notice these containers were hard to seal at first. I really had to put some muscle into it! But after a few uses, it's becoming easier. Really happy, and wish I'd ordered them sooner. Pics for comparison.

Really liking this product! The items came packed very well in sturdy cardboard and bubble wrap. The glass is sturdy and withstands microwave reheating. The lids lock tightly and snaps into place with ease. I tested the containers filled with water and it did not leak! SUPER impressed with this set. I don't usually buy containers with locking lids but now I'm seeing the wonderful benefits! Game changer.

These are really high quality containers. I have been eyeing glass storage containers and I finally pulled the trigger and bought these. I was pleasantly surprised when I received them. The glass is thick and the lid is vented for microwave use which is a nice feature. They are oven safe, but I have not used them in the oven. They easily withstood microwave use.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered these but I really like them! The glass is thick and heavy and incredibly sturdy. I like that the lids snap into place instead of just laying on top. They're really the perfect sized containers for meal prepping. I try to do quite a bit of meal prep, especially when it comes to chopping up fresh fruit and veggies for my kids and myself to eat. I think they're also a great size for individual portions of leftovers for lunch. Another bonus is that they're dishwasher safe! The less I have to wash by hand, the better in my opinion. Overall, I think they're a great quality product and use them a ton in our house.

With all the confusing information out there about plastic and toxins leaching in your food, I felt it easiest to bypass that and use mason jars and other various glass containers to store food in. I needed containers to take lunches in, while mason jars work, they’re not totally portable and sometimes more of a challenge to eat out of! I LOVE these glass containers!! They fit perfectly in my lunch box and I feel my food stays cooler longer while sitting with just an ice pack! They have super tight lids that do not create leaks and that makes this girl super happy because working in healthcare I do not always get a 30 min lunch so not having to clean up my bag makes that eating on the run more possible! They are very durable as I have unfortunately dropped them a few times on our hardwoods and they did not break!

These glass containers are awesome! They snap shut really good with no leakage. Made with great quality. We use them all the time on our outings and have been very happy with the level of quality. The glass compartment is a perfect size and the lid is hard plastic with strong latches to shut. There's an inner gage along the bottom of the lid and it seems to be thick and strong so it hold liquid well without leaks. Perfect for my family, we are out of the house a lot during summer time and prepping snacks is a must with 4 kids

These glass containers are WONDERFUL. I got them to use them with the PrepNaturals bag and they are a perfect compliment OR stand alone product. They are a great size, with the lid on they are about 3 tall and 5.5" x 7.5" across. I can fit 3 of them stacked on top of each other in my bag. It is the perfect size for me to pack my lunch and the top with the vent hole is perfect for heating it up when I'm ready for lunch. The glass is very thick and durable and I expect these to last me for a very long time."
Aneika
Very sturdy glass! My only complaint is that the one on the top was packed different and the plastic tab that is suppose to seal the container won't latch so the lid doesn't stay on.

I love these containers. I am always really sketched out about using plastic so glass is my first choice. They seem very heavy duty and the tops fit snugly and don't leak. They don't seem to chip easily which is nice when using glass. I believe you can bake in them and use them in the microwave. They even have a steam vent which is nice. I would definitely recommend these glass meal prep containers.

I really like the size of these containers. Perfect size for a left over dish to take to work the next day. I also like that I can reheat it in the oven or the microwave. And the ability to open a hole in the top even allows me put hot food in it without getting soggy because it allows the steam to escape.
