Why did we choose this set?My wife likes to cook different dishes baking them in the oven. We have three children and each has its own preferences and tastes. And so when she cooked in one big dish there were problems because one likes chicken, second likes fish, and the third likes vegetables. Therefore, the preparation went in two or three stages and the dish could not be eaten in a few days. Now she prepares for each individual portion taking into account all personal wishes. Containers of a very suitable size for the stove and cooked portions for children are enough for two or three times. It is very convenient. Now do not wait until the cooked food is cooled and put into plastic containers for storage in the refrigerator. Just close the container when it is cold and in the refrigerator. Then you just got it put in a microwave and again there are no problems. Well and a nice bonus containers can be washed in the dishwasher. Wife says why we did not buy them before it's so convenient! I am pleased with this purchase because my wife likes to cook and feed us and I see that she is pleased with the convenience of working with these containers.
Switching to glass containers is the best decision ever. I think these have been a great way to learn what I like and dislike in using this type of meal storage containers.I love the ventilation port in the top, but I also REALLY love that I can go from refrigerator straight to the oven with these containers. They have a good weight so they're nice and sturdy. They have also gone in the dishwasher a couple of times and survived. The only downside is the rubber in the lid does not stay in very well. Otherwise, these containers have been perfect! The step by step meal plan is an added bonus.
We really like the look and the idea of the usefulness of having these around. However the white strip/tubing is extremely cheap and some arrived stuck to the container, not the lid. One of mine was not only stuck upon unwrapping, but strangely broken into pieces, which prevents it from properly sealing. See pic for details. It makes me concerned how long the others will last that we have actually gotten to use, or if this is just a dud. The things don’t stay in the lid like they should after all.
Major things about this food container:1. The container is deep enough to fit in a k-cup inside, so you won't have much problem fitting in a full chicken thigh or drumsticks in there (unlike most containers I found)2. The glass container is smaller than I expected it to be base on the pictures posted (see photos for reference), but it can sure fit a nice full meal (but too small for what i intended to use it for).3. The containers stack up nicely and they're pretty stable so no problem storing them.4. The rubber is removable for easy cleaning. Just do note that the rubber is only glued or something, so exercise caution when washing.5. One major thing I don't like tho is that the plastic lock doesn't feel sturdy.I guess overall, the glass part is amazing but the plastic covers are not as much... though, considering the price, with proper care and careful use, this is a good buy ;)
Two compartments! brilliant! Saves space and is convenient for packed lunches as well as left overs! I prefer using glass containers especially when I have to heat up my food. These can go in the oven or the microwave. Easy to clean. I hand wash the top and put the container in the dishwasher.
This glass tupperware is really nice. We’ve been using Rubbermaid ones forever and over the years they just break down and have to be replaced a lot. I’m hoping to prevent that with these glass ones. The glass is super thick and I like the two compartments on it to keep food separate. The lid snaps on pretty easy and seals well. My biggest problem with these lids is the vent on top I'm not sure its purpose since the description (and seller) said not to microwave the lids. I feel like they need to change the product packaging then because the description on the package itself says the lids ARE microwave safe. The actual glass containers are microwavable and you can even put them in the oven to bake in or the freezer. Everything is top rack dishwasher safe though so that’s a plus.
We ordered these to use as meal prep containers and they did not disappoint. They aren't awkwardly heavy to use and the size is great. I also really like the feature on the lid to use when microwaving, you just pop open that little tab and it vents it so you don't have food popping all over your microwave. If there's anything like would slightly bother me it'd be that the lid doesn't close off the 2 compartments, so if you shake them when transporting some of the food may mix together but that's not a deal breaker for us.
These glass containers come with plastic leak-proof lids and they are the best for storing leftovers in or prepping salads for the week ahead. I've been slowly replacing all of my plastic ware, and using glass as it's so much better to reheat in. It does say not to microwave with the lid on, but as long as I've used it on medium heat with it a jar from the base it's done ok. I've also put the lid on the top shelf in my dishwasher and used low heat to dry and they've come out fine. Just don't use the plastic lid in the oven.
I bought these and the 2 compartments containers and I've been pleased with both. They have a nice weight to them and they don't feel thin and cheap. I like the venting thing on top for when they are in the microwave I just hope that if this even ends up it's side in the lunch box that the little flap doesn't leak. But for now they are perfect and I will be ordering the other styles over the next few months

I love my food storage bowls. They are perfect for taking food to work etc. Perfect amount for one person. Great for storing leftovers. This set will be great for the holidays. It has such a great seal!! I have never had anything this good before. Plus I like that it's glass and not plastic.
We decided to move away from plastic containers for our left overs and my husband's lunches at work. Searching on Amazon I saw this product and another made by them have had fantastic reviews so I took the chance with ordering online. I have not been disappointed yet. The 2 compartments have ended up being the perfect size. They have a nice weight and seem sturdy. I will be ordering more from this company over the next few months.
This glass prep set is just what my kitchen needs as it is the perfect size to store leftovers in. I have gotten rid of my plastic ware and have been switching over to only glass to reheat leftovers in so I am thrilled with this divided set. The lid says not dishwasher safe, but did fine on the top shelf with low dry heat. I've also microwaved with the lid and and the vent open. I find I use these all the time! Also would be perfect for a half of a sandwich, and chips on the small side.
I love these containers! Perfect for meal prepping! I like how the tops have vents! I've been using these for a few months now and no complaints! Probably going to order some more. They're good quality!
These are AWESOME. Super easy to use for food storage and lunch prep. Love that they are glass and reusable, instead of plastic. You will love them.

These containers are sturdy, thick glass, tight fitting kids and awesome for storage, lunches, or travel. The lids have fold down clasps that lock down on the sides for the best fit and an air vent in the top for microwaving! So happy with these!
These glass boxes are really nice. The glass is thick and feels substantial that if it accidentally fell, it wouldn't break the first time (hello kids). The lids snap on super tight. Like I have a hard time snapping the sides closed they they are so securely on there. I think they are probably sealed really well!I have been slowly looking for glass solutions to replace my ziploc style plastic boxes for storing leftovers and these glass containers give me peace of mind in that regard. I am a bit disappointed they don't nest for when they are not in use. I also wish the lids were diswasher safe. Otherwise I am very happy with this product. The price is great as well! Similar to budget friendly Ikea prices (without having to leave the house, or get lost in the super store, and/or end up bringing home ten other things you dont really need ;) )
I am so pleased with these glass containers! A few years ago I bought a similar, yet smaller, pampered chef container for over $10. This is such a great deal for 5. They are made very similarly to pampered chef, with the waterproof seal, thick tempered glass, sturdy lid with four sides to seal. I like that these lids have a little air flap, which is helpful when trying to set the seal. I did fill one with water, seal it, and shake to see if it would leak. It didn't leak! I did notice these containers were hard to seal at first. I really had to put some muscle into it! But after a few uses, it's becoming easier. Really happy, and wish I'd ordered them sooner. Pics for comparison.
These glass containers are awesome! They snap shut really good with no leakage. Made with great quality. We use them all the time on our outings and have been very happy with the level of quality. The glass compartment is a perfect size and the lid is hard plastic with strong latches to shut. There's an inner gage along the bottom of the lid and it seems to be thick and strong so it hold liquid well without leaks. Perfect for my family, we are out of the house a lot during summer time and prepping snacks is a must with 4 kids
These glass containers are WONDERFUL. I got them to use them with the PrepNaturals bag and they are a perfect compliment OR stand alone product. They are a great size, with the lid on they are about 3 tall and 5.5" x 7.5" across. I can fit 3 of them stacked on top of each other in my bag. It is the perfect size for me to pack my lunch and the top with the vent hole is perfect for heating it up when I'm ready for lunch. The glass is very thick and durable and I expect these to last me for a very long time."
Very sturdy glass! My only complaint is that the one on the top was packed different and the plastic tab that is suppose to seal the container won't latch so the lid doesn't stay on.
I really like the size of these containers. Perfect size for a left over dish to take to work the next day. I also like that I can reheat it in the oven or the microwave. And the ability to open a hole in the top even allows me put hot food in it without getting soggy because it allows the steam to escape.

I absolutely love these glass storage containers. I do meal preps and these are amazing. I have meal prepped items from chicken and rice to stroganoff and noodles. The food taste just as great as it did when freshly cooked. I cook my food, put my meals in these containers, pop open the vent and put in fridge on top of a towel. No more leaving my food on the counter to cool and absent mindedly forgetting about it. The next day I take them out of the fridge, close the vent, label them and freeze them. When I don’t have time to cook, I simply put one in the microwave using my microwave cover as a lid and heat for 4, 5, 6 minutes depending on what I am reheating. I stir occasionally and the food taste just like I just made it. These are the right portion size for meal preps. Also, I store my unused peppers and onions in these in my fridge and they last longer than my old plastic storage containers. I absolutely love these and I highly recommend these to anyone searching for fresher storage or great meal prep solutions!
I use the glass Tupperware for taking my lunch to work. It's great instead of putting plastic in the microwave but lord are they heavy. They have a great seal and I can see what meal I'm taking out of the freezer for work.
I have just begun my meal prep journey. I chose glass as I want to ensure I can use the containers for an extended period of time. I also did not want to deal with staining as the plastic containers I have used for leftovers in the past seem to suffer. Had I known about these containers earlier, I could have saved my money on the plastic. Although it can be difficult to close the lids sometimes, I like the security of the seal, no leaks. There also seem to be no odors once the lids are closed. I feel secure that the containers will not leak no matter what abuse occurs to my lunchbox in the company refrigerator. The size is just right for portion control. I have not tried freezing in them yet but I do not expect any change in performance. I have placed the glass in the dishwasher with great results. I do not want to risk the lids in the dishwasher though. Be careful stacking them with the lids on as they slide, there is no top edge to keep them in place when stacked. I really should have bought these sooner!
I am trying to switch from plastic to glass for my food storage, which is why I got these. I feel like my food is fresher, and being in glass makes it easier and safer to reheat if I'm using the microwave. Others have said that the lids are a little tight, but I find that comforting - I don't want air in there! Easy to clean, and dishwasher safe. I've been using them every day since I got them, both for meal prep and for leftovers.
Love these! They are the perfect size and I love how durable they are. I have already bought 4 packs (20 all together) so my husband and I can meal prep easily. They are worth the month and I think they are priced at a reasonable amount. The company is amazing to work with- they have great customer service. I plan on buying at least two more packs.
I adore the quality of these fresh out the box! I love the design it has for the lid and the divider. I wish it could have had at least 2 without a divider.
Generally, these are pretty good. They can be a bit difficult to close at times, but they've never popped open. The gasket does dislodge occasionally. Other than those 2 small things, these are WAY WAY better than the plastic containers. They do not stain or retain odors. Big plus!
I use the containers for meal prep. I'll be honest, I struggled with the size of these containers at first because I'm used to much larger portions. I think if you eat a ton of food, this will be good start for lunches. After awhile, I started using these for dinners. While using these, I realized that cooked food only lasts for about 2-3 days before it starts to go bad (taste, smell, and appearance changes). So, I do meal prep on Sundays and Wednesdays to prevent food from going bad before I can finish it. My meals are usually a combination of meat and vegetables (paleo). I like having my food organized and having the divider built into the glassware makes it so that the food doesn't mix. That's important for some meals. Overall, the glass feels very sturdy and my refrigerator is much more organized thanks to this product. I also lost over 10 lbs by reducing my portions and starting meal prep.

UPDATED REVIEW on July 18, 2018My original review is below for your reference.Like I said in my original review, I don't usually write reviews, however, I was so impressed by the company's resolution that I felt strongly enough to update. The company reached out to me after seeing my negative review and sent me an entire new set of containers with lids that were perfect. The containers are perfect in every way and were on my doorstep within 2 days. I'm super happy! Thank you, HomeNative!ORIGINAL REVIEW:I don't usually write reviews but I feel compelled to write this! The good first: The actual glass containers are perfect! Exactly what I was looking for and expected = work lunch containers. The bad: Upon opening the box, 2 of the lids had locking sides that had already broken off. The third broke off the first time I snapped it shut and the remaining 2 broke the first week upon opening the container. I threw away all the packing material thinking they might be fine even though they were missing only one locking side. Now, they all leak so I can't bring them to work which was my entire intent! I don't want the hassle of returning them because I don't have packing material and I don't want the returned containers to arrive shattered. Now I'm back to square one with finding glass containers for work lunches!I tried to write a review the first week but the Amazon website prevented me from doing so stating that this item was receiving unusual review activity. I felt so strongly about it that I kept trying. Frustrating!
These containers are wonderful! I am a single professional with a very busy life. These containers are great for meal prep. I prepare multiple meals on the weekend and have them ready to go during the week. I love that they are both safe to put in the oven and also to put in your dishwasher! So much easier than plastic containers that turn the color of your food! I also love the little vent at the top which is nice when you are putting food in the fridge while it is still hot. Highly recommend this product!

These are perfect for taking my lunch to work. The lid locks down on all 4 sides independently, even with getting tossed around a bit they do not accidentally come loose or leak. I love that they can go from the fridge to microwave. The glass is thick and heavy, very sturdy. The lids have a vent so you can microwave with the lid on your food and it doesn't become soggy from the steam. I do wash the lids by hand as I worry they would warp in the dishwasher , but have had no issues with them staining. Great product, very pleased.
Just Love It! Probably the Best food containers I have ever owned! First of all they are GLASS. Second, it has nice plastic lid with vent for extra moist escape while reheating food. Also it is great size. It's big enough to feed my working husband. Each container is 30 oz. Lastly, but not least it came fast and very well packaged. None of them got chipped or broken. Thank you!
I like these meal prep containers, they are small enough to have portion control but still big enough to have a full meal in. I can make a weeks worth of lunches and put them in the freezer, take one with me everyday to work and pop them in the microwave in the same container. This helps me save on buying pre-packaged lunches from the store and my food is healthier where it is not filled with preservatives to keep fresh. The lids have stayed on nice and secure, a little hard to flip the latches sometimes but still good lids.I like that they are made of glass and are bpa free, easy to clean with no stains stuck in them like plastic does. Now the glass is easy to clean but the lids are a little harder, I let them soak for a bit to help get any food particles or liquid that may have gotten stuck in the plastic lid grooves because they are hard to wash out. this is a nice set.
I have been using these for lunch for a few months now and am very happy with my purchase sturdy lids none of the tabs have snapped off. The vent tab doesn't seem to be enough in the microwave on its own I usually have to unsnap 2 sides otherwise the lid bows up I have not yet used these in the oven or freezer.
Definitely love the sturdy build and glass makes me feel much better about chemical leaching, cleanability, and recyclability. Unfortunately the lids get flimsy and balloon up when reheating in the microwave. I thought I had read they were microwave safe, but I wouldn't do it anymore. Wanted to save on plastic wrap myself, so I've resorted to putting a small dish over it while microwaving. Usually wipes clean really easily, so not too bad. Lids still feel really sturdy when they're not hot, at least. I would recommend these.
WOW these are really nice, I love the size. Easy to clean, I wash the lids by hand, and thro glass container into dishwasher. Its a heavier glass which makes it more durable, stacks well. I love it for leftovers to take to work next day. I would recommend these glass containers as I am very pleased with mine.
These glass meal prep containers are great! I have had some of a different brand for a while. The lids don't fit on the other brand very well. These containers are a great size for left overs. I am able to take them to work with me for lunch. They don't leak and the leds fit perfectly. They are stackable in the fridge for keeping left overs in a serving size bowl. They can be used in the microwave and go right to the dishwasher after your meal. I would highly recommend!
Pleased with the purchase. The containers are very heavy - which is good and a little bad - I use this and another glass container and my lunch box feels like a bowling ball. I guess it's an added workout! The tops might be a tad tough to close - or could just be their brand new state and they'll ease up a bit. But again a good & bad at same time. The steam opening was a surprise, I didn't realize that. I like it. I heat up my food and the glass isn't hot to touch (don't heat up a long time) but the food is good temperature.I got these to replace a plastic set that was 3 compartments because they didn't fit into my lunch box and I never really used the 3rd for something that needed to be heated.
[5-Pack,29oz] Glass Meal Prep Containers - Food Prep Containers with Lids Meal Prep - Food Storage Containers Airtight - Lunch Containers Portion Control Containers - BPA Free ContainerI'm very impressed with quality and how convenient they are. I put leftovers there mostly and it put frozen veggies to one and keep in the freezer. Very handy to just open and put to the microwave to warm up. Good for taking away to have lunch at work.Looking at other containers of the same brand. Very necessary stuff at your kitchen.
Amazing containers at a great price. I always heat my food with a paper towel over the glass instead of using the plastic lids, I’ll bet they will last a lot longer as well. These seal super tight and I’m really impressed. Just ordered my second set, goodbye nasty stained plastic containers.
Decent price on an excellent set of glass food containers. Work very well for my meal prep. They are very sturdy and easy to clean. I highly recommend them.
Just what I expected! Stores well in my fridge and I haven't had a problem with the lids or glass itself yet. However, I'm giving it 4 stars as the use of the air hole on top doesn't work too well in the microwave. You have to take the lid off of the container otherwise it starts to bubble up. Other than that, great product!
I was going to buy Pyrex, but then I found out they switched from using borosilicate glass to tempered soda-lime glass in their USA products. That soda-lime glass is not as tolerant of fast temperature changes, and although it is rare, it can occasionally EXPLODE if you place a hot container on a cool surface. But these here are true borosilicate glass containers and I expect them to be safer when I go from oven to freezer to microwave. The lids are a very solid tight fit, which is great for me if I use the container to take lunch to work in my backpack (it's the perfect size for that!). However, the lids are SO tight that unless you have two hands of normal adult strength, you might have some trouble snapping them into place. Therefore I would not recommend these for elderly or disabled persons.
I seldom leave perfect review score , that being said the items are actually pretty well made, the glass containers are pretty good quality and durable although not as dense or durable as something from Pyrex or rubbermaid. The lids are very stiff at first and difficult to snap shut but it does have a very good seal once closed.Overall for the price, I can't complain seeing is how these containers somehow ends up missing or stolen by visitors from your home throughout the year.
Have had these for 4 months and still love them! No cracking or breaking, easy to wash, and very versitile! Have microwaved, frozen and baked all sorts of stuff in these and have had no issues what so ever. No leaks, no chips, they look brand new. Love the size! And that they are mostly glass and don't stain or smell. Hoping to buy more when we move and have more space, but for now, this set has all my needs covered.UPDATE:10/19/18 - Bough another set! Love these and they are my preferred kitchen containers. SO DURABLE! Great for meal prep :)
Was excited to get these to use for our packed lunches. They are a nice size — about 1-1/2 cups on one side, 1 cup on the other. Sturdy glass and a vented lid. Disappointed that the divider does not completely separate the sides, so if it is being carried on end in a lunchbox the contents are likely to mingle.
These are great quality and exactly what I need for lunch. There is just something about reusing and reheating plastic containers that gives me a gross feeling. These were smaller than I thought they would be but they actually perfectly hold my entire lunch. Great purchase

these are fantastic for leftovers or food prep. gives a tight vacuum seal. and backed by a lifetime warranty. oe of my lids became slightly loose and wouldnt seal tightly. i contacted the seller, and they sent me a new set of containers. that is better customer service than i had hoped for.
I wanted to get away from using plastic containers and I absolutely love these. They are easy to use and easy to clean. Of course glass is heavier than plastic, but it's worth it to know you aren't leaching unhealthy substances into your food. I couldn't talk my husband into using them, but I use them for my lunches all week and to store much of the other food I prep. Highly recommend. I bought two sets.
LOVE these containers! I have recently tried a new meal plan system that has me divide up my portion sizes. This works perfect for me to make up my lunch portions or breakfast yogurt parfaits. What I love about the glassware is I can take my lunch portion and place it directly in the microwave at work and not have to worry about getting more dishes dirty!
I live in a plastic-free household and glass meal prep containers are something that I can never seem to have enough of! What I love about these containers is that they're a bit deeper than most meal prep containers, allowing you to reduce some bulk. There is also a lovely glass divider built into the container! Though heavy, because they are glass, my family has easily thrown these into their lunch bags and let's just say that they're not the most delicate of creatures...but the meal prep containers arrive back home perfectly intact with no leaks or spills!Definitely a must-have, and for the price, you really cannot find anything as great! I searched on Amazon and found that even plastic containers were the same price!
I have used the ISO Bag plastic containers but even though they state they are microwave safe they show heat damage. I decided to give these a try. The unit is made from thick glass. It has 2 compartments (one smaller one bigger to separate your food items). The lid is air tide and leak proof with 4 snaps on each side. The larger snaps are a bit harder to close. The lid has a vent on top to allow steam to escape when reheating. They are dishwasher safe. They can be stacked. They fit my ISO 3 meal lunch bag system and you can still fit other containers on top
When I first got these I felt they were small. Now that I have used them I really like them. You can fit a decent amount of food in them. they are heavy. The tops fit well and the vent helps when heating up food.
Just swinging by to add my two cents to this product.Got my first shipment a week or two ago. After using them a couple times I immediately bought a second shipment. For LUNCH - I'd say these are just about the perfect container in size, material and quality. I'm a big fan of glass over plastic, and overall just really fit the bill perfectly for me (after 2 or 3 not so great other products).I do want to respond to a couple of the comments around the lids being hard to seal completely. Yes, this is true to a point. But for a product that advertises itself as leakproof, I'm not sure how you deliver on that promise without tightly sealing lids. It's a one or the other thing. Generally I find the lids do require a bit extra pressure to seal. If I'm having trouble getting it to stay sealed, I just have to lean in" a bit more and they snap right shut.So for me - it's a feature not a bug."
Containers are nice but lids are too hard to snap back on. Plus you have to remove the rubber liner from the lids when washing...I have found mold spores starting to grow because I washed the lids in the dishwasher with the urbber liner still in tact
W & W
Have been using these for a couple months now and am very happy. Portion size is perfect for packing lunches and left overs. I have used them in the oven to make single serve casseroles. No more lasagna stained or warped plastic containers!I pack 5 lunches a week so these are always in use. I hand wash the lids and don't use them in the microwave to extend the life of the gaskets. I can see them being the biggest issue as they feel like i could break them if I'm not careful when removing them from the lid and washing them. They came well packed which was great since the something drug the package off and took it down the road.
Great buy, came on time, undamaged. Ive only used it for food and microwaving. The white rubber thing in the lid stains easily (i had spaghetti so theres red/orange stains). The plastic lid also scratches easily. My dish sponge left micro scratches in the lid.
These are wonderful! The bottom part can go in the microwave so they are ideal to send my husbands lunch in without having to pack extra things so he can transfer and heat. The smaller size and compartments make portion control easy and help to keep foods separated. The lid is awesome too because it actually holds very tight and it doesn't have that extra lip that wraps around many storage containers (making them hard to clean and hard to dry). The design of this lid is actual super easy to clean and dry because it opens up and that is a huge time saver for me!
Really like the containers - no issues with spilling. You have to have some strength to snap the lids into place. Not problem for me, but could be difficult for someone who is elderly or struggles with dexterity. My biggest complaint is that THEY DON'T NEST! Each dish fits into another one about an inch in, so if you stack them, they're going to take up a lot of space.
the glasses used in this product is heavy duty. Also the container size is perfect left overs for aSingle to family of two size. These also stack well in refrigerator. These heat to touch really fast when you put freshly cooked food in them. These lack a double wall feature which would be good for handling. The tops are make of the thick plastic which I don’t care for. These hold color and stain if overfilled. My suggestion to this company would be to provide a glass top for consistency. These are not fully leak proof.
I used these every day - love em! I usually hand wash the lids, but if they are really messy, they do fine in the top shelf of the dishwasher. I make an egg bake on Sunday that I divide up into six servings. I eat one on Sunday and the rest go into the containers for each day. I pop the little tab on the unit before putting in the microwave at work, and I have an awesome breakfast throughout the week. I love the fact that there is no mess left in the microwave and I'm not using a bunch of plastic wrap . .ever.
These little storage containers are a fantastic bang for your buck! Compared to snapware prices at places like Costco and even Amazon these are a great deal. Not to mention you're getting 5 meal prep sized containers, rather than in other packages where you only get 2-3 plus smaller sized containers. Not only are they the perfect size, they clean up very well, look classy, and I have been able to cook with them too because of their high resistance to heat. The only piece of advice I have is to hand wash the tops. I put one in the dishwasher and it changed the shape a bit and rubber band seal came out. It was an easy fix but will be hand washing the tops going forward. Otherwise, I absolutely love and recommend these!
Bought the as an Amazon special. The size is good and they work great. They clean up much better than plastic. They also heat up better in the microwave. The lids are pretty hard to close when you first get them which causes the rubber gasket to stick to the container instead of the lid.
Perfect size for a small to medium-sized lunch. I am not looking for a hefty-man portion, and wanted to get away from toxins since I microwave my lunches daily. Similar containers were twice as expensive in the stores. The rectangular size allows me to plan out lunches and store in fridge and freezer with easy stackability ahead of time for busy workweeks. Snap-tight lid doesn't leak. Just be careful you don't lose the steam-release valve, as it is removable and can dislodge if you don't have it snapped while in transit. A good buy for eco-conscious and portion conscious people who need to plan meals ahead.
THE MAD NAD
After using old plastic deli containers for years these glass bowls are excellent. The only slight downside is that the snap on lids require a bit of effort to close snap shut but I refuse to downgrade a full star for this. I frequently take the bowls straight to the oven or microwave with no ill effects. (of course the lids can't go in the oven). The lids are fine in the dishwasher but I never use the heated dry in on my dishwasher so I can't say what the heating element would do to the lids. When not in use the bowls have a slight nest" so that I can stack in the cabinet. When in use the lids are flat and I can easily stack two or three in the fridge."
I really wanted to love these, but I can't say that I do.The Pros: They are a decent quality, and actually a lot bigger than I expected. I can definitely fit all of my lunch in them, and the seal seems pretty tight so far.The Cons: The seal is so tight that its actually kind of difficult to close them, it takes a bit of muscle. The biggest thing I don't like about these is that they DON'T NESTLE together. Yes, they stack, but as some other reviewers stated, only a tiny part of the bottom will fit inside the top of another. So these are definitely NOT space savers in the Tupperware drawer.Bottom line, they work, but I wouldn't buy these again and I will probably continue looking for a better set that will meet more of my needs.
I’ve bought 2 sets so far! These are amazing for meal prepping! There are a great price for 5 containers. They are also a great size and stack well in my cabinet. I love that the lid disassembles for thorough cleaning (the rubber seal comes out)! My only gripe is that the lid isn’t dishwasher safe. But I already knew that before I bought them and it hasn’t really been a big deal so far.
The glass meal prep containers are ideal for any individual who enjoys saving time and money by meal prepping. This container set came in a five pack, making it perfect for anyone who is looking to meal prep lunches to take to work with them. It has a separating bar in the middle so your fruits, vegetables, carbs or protein will not touch and the two halves are great for portion control. The glass containers are also see through, making the food inside easily visible. When purchasing a food container, most look for ones that are microwave safe, dishwasher safe, inexpensive and durable.Container:The glass material prevents the containers from breaking down in the long run, which is commonly found in most plastic containers. Since glass can handle heat; this container provides a microwavable safe dish for reheating leftover food. The glass is thick, strong and sturdy, which prevents the container from shattering if dropped on the ground or hit against something. The product fell out of the fridge when I first used it, but upon inspection, there were no cracks in the glass and the lid was still tightly on. The food contents inside did not spill out of the container, nor did they mix together inside. The size is small enough and nicely compact that it could easily fit into a lunch bag or the fridge. The glass is also easily washable and can be cleaned by hand or by dishwasher.Lid:The lids tighten on all four sides by clasps, and use a soft, rubbery plastic to line the area where the lid connects with the container and around the clasps, which prevent any leakage of the food. The flat, glass lid allows for other containers to easily be stacked on top of them, making more room for other items either in the fridge or lunch bag.In conclusion, the five-pack glass meal prep containers, with two compartments, are highly recommended. This product is microwave and dishwasher safe; it is durable; and lastly, it is inexpensive.
I bought these to help with weekly meal prep. The glass is substantial and I don’t worry about using the dishwasher. I feel better about heading up foods in a glass container as opposed to plastic. In particular I like that the lids have a steam release latch so I don’t get burned when heat up my lunch.
These glass meal prep containers are great for holding small portions of leftovers and keeping foods separate! They also are great for reheating food in the microwave and not having to use plastic containers.
These are great for leftovers that will be lunch the next day or for meal prep. I really like how the lid snaps on all four sides. We plan to throw out all of our plastic Tupperware and upgrade to these.
I use these to bring lunch to work every day now, and using them has been much more enjoyable than the plastic containers I've used in the past. They are heavy but very sturdy and solid, and the glass containers make it easier to clean than plastic if you ever put oily food in it.Pros:Easy to clean5-pack is just enough to meal prep over the weekend and have enough meals for the work weekGlass feels nicer than comparable plastic containers, and the construction feels solidLarge enough to hold a utensilCons:Lids can be difficult to snap on at times, but it has never been enough to significantly bother meLids are not freezer-safe, so it sort of defeats the purpose of the glass being freezer safe
I love these and will be buying more. The lids are great! The little flip thing used for venting is fantastic. And comes in handy when microwaving my meals. They are a perfect size too for meals.Recommend hand washing not using the dishwashers with the lids. I’ve had bad luck with other brands and the lids in the past. But I am planning on buying another set of these. Great product at a great price!
I was looking for glass meal prep containers that would stack in my cooler and I couldn’t be happier with these. The glass is thick and the covers are solid. I’ll probably order the two section version eventually.
I love these glass containers, I use them for snacks; left over meals to be used for lunch. You can warm up your left overs in the over; toaster oven; or the microwave (though, I don't recommend using a microwave, for if you do in depth research you will learn that they are not good for your health). I highly recommend these Glass Meal Prep Containers.
I really like these. Previously I used plastic microwavable containers for lunch at work and eventually (especially with a pasta dish with tomato sauce) they would become really gross. These containers are, of course, glass, which is healthier than using plastic. The lids, however, are plastic with a removable rubber lining (which is great for washing so you don't get gross mold/mildew. The fasteners move nicely without seeming like they could break off, and then the flap up top, which reveals the hole for steam to escape, is really nice too.My only concern with this, which is why I removed a star, is that after heading, it seems like the plastic lid loses its shape and bends a little bit. I imagine the steam from warming the food pushes it up a bit, and softens it, so it's just not flat. It has yet to render the product useless or ineffective at all, so that's really my only complaint thus far.All in all, I highly recommend this if you are like me and insist on a hot lunch while at work!
Great product. This has made my life so much better, no more spilled soups and food on my way to work. They lock tight with zero leaking. Super slick interior to make it easy to clean. The only downside is that when stored they don't save space when stacked, but not a big deal. Easily stacks in refrigerator. They may be a little difficult to get the lids on tight if you have difficulties with your fingers. Lids seem very sturdy and will probably last a while. The folding part of the plastic tabs seem pretty thick and the seal that seats onto the glass part is pretty good. I would expect these to last a while. I bought a couple of these and for the price will probably buy more.
Lafter The Fact
Great for packing lunches for work. Glass is nice and thick. Convenient lids to hold the containers by the lids after they've been microwaved to prevent burns. The lids are a bit stiff at first, but go on just fine with enough force and get easier to close. No leaks. Thus far the lids haven't been staining or retaining odors. Will see how they hold up...
These are thick and heavy. They are a nice size for storing stuff and reheating leftovers. I like the lids. No leaks so far. I dropped one on my knee and got a big bruise. A small piece of the lip of glass broke off but it didn't shatter and the it still functions fine. We throw them through the dishwasher.
Got this when it was on a lightning deal. For the price I paid in the deal, these aren't bad at all. I would not have paid the original price for them though. The glass is solid, but compared to Pyrex it comes second. I have bought a pack of Pyrex containers similar to this with the glass and air tight seals. The Pyrex quality is much better, BUT these aren't bad at all for basic storage and transportation. Perfect for storing your lunch to later microwave. For storage the containers don't stack very well. They cannot nest within one another very well. With the lid on the container the stack can be unstable if stacked high as they do not stack perfectly on top of each other because of the flat lid design.I had microwaved the container with the lid on and the heat vent open thinking that's what it was for but later realized the lids cannot be microwaved. The lid warped a little bit which is understandable but makes me question as to whether or not it can handle a dishwasher's heat. I'm not really sure what to use the air vent option for other then to let some air in when stored. If you are using these for basic food storage to microwave for lunch, these are good for you.
Pretty pricey IMO. However it is a very good quality set of containers. The lids are lock tight and are made of very hard materials. Really helps me portion my lunches out.Sort of sucks that they don't stack tho.
Great value. With the lids, I would suggest not putting them in the dishwasher (I tried one and it now has a puffed up/concave top, but still fits and works as expected) and unlocking the side tabs when microwaving. The little steam vents are great but sometimes don’t let out enough steam while microwaving, which can also cause the top of the lid to puff up. By the way, the “puffing up” I’m describing doesn’t mean you can’t use the lid, it just means you can’t really stack anything on top of the lid without it sliding off. With the microwave thing, it returns to normal (flat) after a while; however the dishwasher one did not.
i LOVE these containers. I feel as though today you really don't know what you can trust when it comes to plastic and chemicals leaking into food when microwaving. So for me- glass containers are the way to go. Not only can you heat up food securly in these, but they're also safe for the oven (without the lid). They are very heavy and sturdy. Great product at a great price!
Nice glass containers to store your food items in. Can fit all of your fruit and nuts or whatever you like to snack on throughout the day. It's also big enough to hold a perfectly portioned out meal. The glass ensures nothing will get squished. The tops seal tightly ensuring nothing leaks. Perfect for my controlled meals.

everything came very well packed and in great shape. Just put 2 of the 5 in the freezer a few minutes ago with some really awesome homemade beef bone broth I just simmered up over the last 3 days. Lids seem to fit VERY tight. I turned my 2 dishes full of warm broth over and left them on the counter for a few minutes and even shook them and sloshed the liquid around a lot and could not detect even a tiny hint of leakage anywhere on either container / lid. I'm very happy so far!! I bought them mostly for freezing and likely will seldom if ever go from freezer direct to oven. I thaw things in sink with water or just in fridge for a few days.
I love these glass storage containers. The lid comes on and off easily while still being very secure while latched. It feels like a quality product, not cheaply made. I love using these to bring food to friends as it feels like an upgrade from your run of the mill throw-away plastic ware. I highly recommend these! And the size is perfect- great for sides especially!
I like these containers. The glass is heavy and doesn't shatter. The only issue I had was with the lids. The seals get stuck to the glass rim and it pulls out of th lid. It is easy enough to put back in, it's just annoying.
I’ve decided to switch from plastic containers to glass containers. These single compartment containers are great! The flaps on the lid fit much tighter than other sets I own.Pros:*Containers stack into each other for easier storage*Air vent at the top allows me to put the lid on while my left overs are still a little warm.*Containers were packed in a long narrow box so each container stacks on top of another. There were foam pieces on all sides and above and below. All 5 containers arrived without any chips or cracks.*The four lid clips are much more snug than other glass containers I have. They do not wear out after multiple uses.*The glass containers have a little lip around the top edge. This helps create a full seal with the gasket inside the lip.*So convenient to use! Oven, dishwasher, and microwave safe*Glass containers won’t stain from spaghetti sauce like plastic containers do.I’m happy to have these single compartment glass containers as part of my container collection. I enjoy writing quality reviews. If you've found this review helpful, and you'd like to give me some encouragement, please click yes" below. Thanks!"
I purchased these instead of a competitor brand and have not been disappointed. I use glass a lot more than plastic storage so I have quite the variety of sizes. This size is the perfect size for kids, left overs, gifts! I used a couple for gifts as I didn't need that many of the same size. They all washed well in my dishwasher and the glass used is very sturdy as my toddler accidentally dropped one. Lids actually snap on easier than a competitor brand that I use a lot.
I needed to upgrade my Tupperware before the holidays and came across these. They are great and so easy to stack in the refrigerator. I have also used them to send leftovers to work for my husbands lunch. He said there was no leakage in his lunchbox--that's always a win! Great purchase!
I love this set! The lid snaps on so securely, the size is perfect for a lunch for work & they clean up so nicely. The glass is thick and high quality. I want to convert all my Tupperware to glass and will likely buy more of these!
I am in love with these containers. They are the perfect size for my meals that we prep for during the week. Nice glass container and plastic lid. The snaps are easy to use and make a great seal. Easy to clean and store.

Such amazing quality! The lids clip down very tight. It can even be hard to push in the lock sometimes, they are so tight. So it feels pretty leak proof. I use the for meal prepping and they stack perfectly. Love them!
I just received my second set of five after using the first set for a few weeks. The containers are part of my process of preparing food in large quantity and freezing meals for use later. I hand wash the lids to avoid subjecting them to really high heat and make sure they stay in good shape. (I have defrosted a container with lid, vent open, in the microwave with no problem.) Otherwise, I don't hesitate reheating the containers as instructed in the microwave or oven. The result is I have healthy meals even on work days when I leave home early and return late. I recommend this product.

These are spectacular!!! They are airtight so the week's food I do for lunches and such stay fresh for the whole week. They are strong and very durable. The four part latching system insures your food is completely sealed. The seal ring is removable for easy cleaning. The nice pop-top vent allows food to cool if packed in hot . Once cool, close pop-top and stick in the fridge. Husband is rough on things including his lunch box and so far these are holding up so nice!! Many others I have tried have been broken in a matter of days. I love these !!!
Absolutely best purchase I’ve made! Been using plastic Tupperware for work lunch, heating and reheating then. We all know how risky that can be cancer etc. so glad I switched to this glass one! Haven’t tried to seal soup in it yet but nothing spilled out so far!
These are very nice containers, they are durable and not as heavy as you would think. My wife carries two with her to work and has no complaints about being two heavy. The lids seal great locking in the freshness, and as with glass they are easy to clean without worrying about any chemicals that may be getting broken down into your food. The only complaint I have is the size is not that big but I also try and fit lunch and dinner into one so thats the user's fault not the container. I would recommend.

These are so much better than the plastic meal prep containers. They lock perfectly, which makes it great for when I'm walking / riding my bike to work. I will say, even with the opening slot on top, they do take a little bit longer to warm up in the microwave, but nothing ridiculous. Much happier with these than the plastic versions. Spend the extra money and get these. Only real problem is they don't stack well, so be prepared for that.
These are by far my favorite containers to use for left overs! Because they are glass they don't hold on to smells. Even if you have cleaned out the fridge and left them on the counter for a few days :| They are the perfect size to hold pretty much everything. I have dropped one on my kitchen floor vinyl and it just bounced without breaking or chipping. The little spout at the top is nice for microwaving, especially soups. I will be buying another pack of these in the future because I love them so much!
